Ako Evening Lead Up - Mahara

What is a ako evening a ako evening is when I the student from our classes get to be the teacher and teacher our family our topic, And our topic was our community and for my part of the ako evening I have been working on was a brochure. It can tell you something's about some cool attractions in my community and then I have to wright down some facts about the cool attractions and what you can do there. like that panmure lagoon pools 

in my brochure that i have been working on it will be talking to you about where you can go and some places that other people like to go and place that attraction others. I have been working on this brochure for about a week and it can tell you a little bit of information about some cool place in the community

Volleyball Reflection - Mahara

one rule that I learnt about today was not stepping over the line while serving. another rule that I have learnt today was lift so when you go four a set not to make the ball touch your palm of your hands. Also another rule that I have learnt today was not touching the net because if you do you will have to give over the ball and then it is the other team get the ball and they needed to serve, And also not hitting the ball twice 

one thing that I have learned about in volleyball today was making sure that your whole team is ready before you serve, because if you serve and your teams is not ready then you could lose a point. One thing that I did well was my serving because I did it hard so it is harder for the opposite team to set it. one thing that i could possibly work on is my bumping becuase I tend to punch the ball a lot but that is a goal that I could work on next time.  communication it is a big part this game because this game you need to communicate with your teammates saying mine when the ball come to you is a big part so your whole team don't go running for the ball

Talent show Reflection - Mahara

yesterday what we did was we had a talent show fundraiser for our camp next term we needed to raise $2,700 and we had cake stalls and stuff that we did so it can help us with the fundraiser that last night was a very big night and we have been practicing a lot for this big day. Me and my group got kind of stuck while we were choosing what we were going to do. Than we chose to do a dance but we combine with a another group because we had the same song. Last night was a very big night and I was really nervous becuase the hall was flooding with people.

During the talent show I was still nervous becuase but it was fun becuase I got to perform my dance after that I felt cool because I got my dance over and done with. Then I heard all the other performances and they were pretty cool to. That night I was amazed of how many people came to support us and our fundraiser. On the night there were alot of performances and the show.

when we were heading towards the end of the show we had some one special come in and sing to song for us and that was general fire and we got to watch him perform. Than we watch the other performances from the other groups and then the end we finished off with what we started with which is a song called this is me and then that is the time that everyone went home
